Transport for Wales say that more than 150,000 passengers have used the Pay As You Go ticketing system in South Wales.

It is now three months since the system launched and makes it TfW’s fastest growing ticketing option.

Fares at 95 railway stations start from just £2.60.

“I am delighted that more and more passengers are opting for Pay as You Go, making the most of a simpler and fairer way of paying for their rail and bus tickets.”

The Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales, Ken Skates

  1. If the experiences of users are anything to go by, it all seems a bit hit-or-miss at the moment with taps not being registered correctly or at all. See the thread ‘TFW introduces Pay As You Go in South East Wales’.
