The Bure Valley Railway has announced two visiting steam locomotives for its 35th Anniversary Gala.

Samson and Winston Churchill will visit for the gala thanks to The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway,

These two locomotives hauled the train on the BVR’s opening day on the 10th July 1990.

An intensive timetable will be in operation over the weekend of 7th and 8th June 2025 with all available BVR locos in operation.

Tickets are now available for the gala through the BVR website.
