His Majesty King Charles III has awarded the Royal Warrant to maintain and operate the royal train.

has had the royal warrant since privatisation, meaning they have had the warrant for more than 30 years.

Livery changes for the two locomotives will include a change to the Royal Cypher and 67005 will be renamed to King’s Messenger.

67006 will have a new Royal Cypher, but will keep its current name, Royal Sovereign.
