Dovetail Games has announced that until next Thursday, 13th February, huge savings can be made on Steam products with its ‘Festival of Rail’ sale.

As with a music festival, there are a number of ‘headline acts, including:

  • Up to 90% off routes and loco Add-ons for Train Sim World.
  • A first-time 10% discount for Just Trains’ WCML: Preston-Carlisle route and 67% off Blackpool Branches.
  • Steam exclusive Complete My Collection Bundles or extra savings with:
    • February Roadmap Livestream on 7th February
    • Post-festival Mittenwaldbahn release on 11th February
    • Metrolink F59PHR Preview Stream on 12th February

Steam Exclusive Bundles are exclusive to the Steam Store and feature ‘Complete My Collection’ that allows players to get a discount on Add-ons if they own others within them.

These Bundles will automatically update so that if one of the Add-ons within a Bundle is featured in a sale, it is reflected in the price of the Bundle.

Bundles only feature Add-on content so that to make use of the extra routes and locomotives players need to own Train Sim World 5.

The latest Bundles are:

  • Thanksgiving Starter Bundle, featuring MBTA Commuter and other fan-favourite US routes and locomotives
  • WCML Preston-Carlisle Complete Layering Bundle, featuring Just Trains’ WCML route Add-on and all the additional layers and service content
  • Mannheim Connections Bundle, featuring Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn and additional content for layers and services
  • Through the Years Bundle featuring all routes that formed part of Train Sim World 2, 3 and 4.
  • Staff Highlights Bundle, featuring routes that are favourites with staff members
  • Kick-Start Your Hobby Bundle

Up to 90% saving on three route Add-ons from the Train Sim World back catalogue, including Antelope Valley Line, ideal for the Metrolink F59PHR loco Add-on to be released on 20th February

A first-time discount is available on the Just Trains West Coast Main Line: Preston – Carlisle, and a 67% discount is offered on Train Sim World route Add-on Blackpool Branches, which includes Class 142 Pacers.

Up to 80% discount is available on Loco Add-ons, including:

  • LNER Class A3 60103 Flying Scotsman, 80% off
  • Railpool BR 193 Vectron, 80% off
  • Amtrak’s Acela®, 70% off

Savings on Gameplay Packs include:

  • 20% discount on the Gameplay Add-on Bundle featuring HKA Hopper Wagons, Metrolink’s Holiday Train and the DB BR 111
  • 50% discount on the Loco Add-on Bundle the Rail Head Treatment Train, Santa Fe F7 and Dispolok BR 182
  • 70% discount on the RhB Arosa Aggregates Pack which adds liveries and wagons to the Arosalinie route Add-on

Dovetail Games license agreement with Caltrain has now finished. These add-ons will remain available until 27th February 27th, but will then be removed from stores.
