Class 20 locomotives are to visit Oxfordshire this Saturday (22nd February 2025) as part of the UK Railtours‘ Shakespearean Sonnet.
Departing London Paddington at 07:01, the tour will pass through West Ealing (07:12), Slough (07:27), Twyford (07:45), Reading (07:55), Didcot Parkway (08:20), Oxford (08:34), Moreton-in-Marsh (09:03) and Long Marston at 09:45.
After visiting Long Marston, the tour will head to Stratford-upon-Avon via Evesham (10:59), Worcester Shrub Hill (11:20), Droitwich Spa (11:43), Kidderminster (11:57), Stourbridge Junction (12:09), Smethwick Galton Bridge (12:26), Jewellery Quarter (12:32), Birmingham Snow Hill (12:38), Tyseley (12:56), Henley-in-Arden (13:28) and Stratford-upon-Avon at 13:55.
The next step of the tour after a tour hour break is to head to Fenny Compton MOD. The tour will pass through Hatton (16:15) and Leamington Spa (16:24).
After visiting Fenny Compton, the tour will head via Banbury (18:22), Oxford (19:00), Bicester Village (19:35), Princes Risborough (20:02), High Wycombe (20:15), West Ruislip (20:40), West Ealing (21:01) and London Paddington at 21:16.
