Transport for London are urging passengers to plan ahead this weekend, with a number of closures across the network.
Firstly, a planned closure of the Waterloo & City Line will see no service on Saturday and Sunday.
Moving to the Piccadilly Line. There will a part closure between 1am and 03:30am on Saturday 25th Janaury between Hyde Park Corner and Cockfosters. A rail replacement bus service will operate.
From 03:30am on Saturday 25th January 2025, there will be no service between King’s Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters with a replacement bus service in operation.
There will be no Mildmay Line service between Gospel Oak and Stratford on both the 25th and 26th January. Trains may terminate early at Claplahm Junction or start early. A replacement bus service will operate between Hampstead Heath and Stratford via Gospel Oak.
Passengers using the Liberty Line between Romford and Upminster are advised to use London Buses on both the 25th and 26th January due to no train service.
On the Elizabeth Line, a number of closures will affect passengers:
- 25/01: No service between Whitechapel and Shenfield. No Greater Anglia service between Liverpool Street and Witham / Southend Victoria / Southminster
- 26/01 between 0040 and 0740: No service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway
- 26/01 from 07:40: Reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 / Maidenhead. Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell will all be closed
- 26/01: No service between Whitechapel and Shenfield. No Greater Anglia service between Liverpool Street and Witham / Southend Victoria / Southminster
Finally, Docklands Light Railway passengers are advised of the following changes
- 25/01: No service between Tower Gateway and Shadwell and between Poplar / Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal / Beckton. Replacement services will operate.
- 26/01: No service between Poplar / Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal / Beckton. Passengers should use Elizabeth Line services. Replacement buses will be in operation.
