From October to December, food collections took place at various Greater Anglia railway stations for donation to local foodbank.
Foodbanks at Bishops Stortford, Harlow and Sawbridgeworth received the donations at the end of December ready to help people in crisis this winter.
Over 800kg of food and other items, such as toiletries, were donated along with cash donations.

Michael Kin, who works in the ticket office at Sawbridgeworth and Stansted Mountfitchet stations, said
“I would like to thank everyone who has kindly donated to the foodbank appeal. It was a real team effort.
“It makes your heart swell, especially as last year was so difficult for many people – I am always astounded by how much is generously donated.”
As well as Greater Anglia passengers and staff, donations also came from local businesses and organisations.
In addition, £305 was raised by Lloyd Griffin, who is a Train Presentation member at Greater Anglia, by playing the piano at Harlow Town.
