  1. As Chairman of The Worcester Locomotive Society I can confirm that agreement has been made with WSR at Williton and Leaky Finders to carry out major work on Carnarvon on our behalf.
The society itself was formed in the earl 1960s and is still going strong. Look at our Website for details.
The Kitson was purchased direct for, just over £300!, soon after Stuarts and Lloyds Steelworks in Corby closed.
It has been based on a number of railways since , currently it is based on The South Devon Railway.
We also own 5786, L92 which again was purchased direct, in running ,order from London Transport. The engine s currently awaiting its 10 year overhaul at Buckfastleigh.
We all look in anticipation when both Locomotives will run together as they did all those years ago at The Bulmers Railway Centre.
