On the 18th of August, a woman was found dead at Crawley Station.
Sussex Police officers were called at 7:10am with reports of an altercation between a man and a woman at Station Way.
British Transport Police have now launched a murder investigation after the area was searched and the woman was found in the car park.
The woman in her late teens had injuries consistent with being stabbed.
She was treated at the scene but was unfortunately pronounced dead before leaving the scene.
A search was conducted to find the suspect and a 26-year-old man has been arrested.
Currently, the area is being guarded whilst a forensic examination takes place. British Transport Police will be taking lead on the investigation due to the location.
