10,000 tickets at 50% discount in East Midlands Railway’s Summer Sale

Until the end of this month, East Midlands Railway has over 10,000 Advance Purchase tickets for sale at over 50% discount on the normal purchase price.

The tickets offer great savings on journeys on some of its most popular routes, including to London, Liverpool, , , Sheffield, and many other destinations.

Tickets in this Summer Sale are on a first-come-first-served basis and must be purchased in advance
Only a limited number of the 50% off Advance tickets are available, so customers are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets must be purchased a minimum of seven days in advance of the date of travel.

The offer is open for purchasing tickets until 23:59 on Sunday, 28th July, with tickets available for travel from 00:00 on Monday, 29th July until 23:59 on Sunday, 1st September.

Only a limited number of tickets are available on each route, and they are subject to availability and exclusions. If customers cannot find a discounted ticket, their planned journey may have already sold out or their intended journey is not included in the sale.

When booking Summer Sale tickets, customers should note that they are only valid for the date and train shown on the ticket or for the journey booked. Summer Sale tickets can only be purchased online at https://www.eastmidlandsrailway.co.uk/summer-sale

The Summer Sale tickets are in addition to East Midlands Railway’s Secret Fares available through the Seatfrog app that provides a saving of up to 50% off train tickets, and the 40% savings on tickets on the Lincoln to Nottingham route.

Our Summer Sale always proves very popular with customers and I’m sure this year will be no different.

The sale offers a range of great prices right across our network. So whether you’re booking tickets to see all the world-class tourist attractions, shops or restaurants in our capital, exploring the charming medieval city of Norwich or the vibrant nightlife of Manchester, there are some great options for customers.

Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis so those looking to take advantage of these great fares should book early to avoid disappointment. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

  1. Why not cascade some of the Class 222s to operate on Norwich-Nottingham/Manchester Piccadilly & Liverpool Lime Street and to cascade the Class 158 to Northern, Scotrail or GWR. Once the Class 810 Bi-mode trains have entered service.
