Where to see steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas on its way through Sheffield this Saturday

45596 Bahamas will be back on the mainline this Saturday as it hauls Railway Touring Company’s Jubilee Buxton Spa Express.

The train is set to depart from West Ealing behind a diesel locomotive at 06:18 and will be passing through St Albans (07:01), Luton (07:15), Bedford (07:44), Kettering (08:20), Leicester (09:00), Chesterfield (10:26) and Barrow Hill at 10:37.

Here, 45596 Bahamas is added to the train. Departing at 11:12, the tour will pass through Sheffield (11:45), Grindleford (12:04), Edale (12:18) and Buxton at 13:22.

The return trip will depart Buxton at 14:37 and will pass through Chapel-en-le-Frith (14:54), Stockport (15:32), Denton (15:44), New Mills Central (16:35), Edale (17:00), Hathersage (17:10), Chesterfield (17:36), Langley Mill (18:22), Loughborough (18:44) and Humberstone Road (18:59). Here, 45596 Bahamas is taken off the train and is replaced by a diesel.

The tour will head back to West Ealing, calling at Leicester (19:34), Kettering (20:02), Bedford (20:30), Luton (21:05), St Albans (21:25) and West Ealing at 22:23.
