Rail Route train dispatch simulator releases tutorial

Recently, Rail Route, a train dispatch simulator, launched a new tutorial in a recent update and has been met with huge praise from its Discord community.

The new tutorial guides players through the mechanics of the game at their own pace and also sees the introduction of Jozic, the game’s mentor character.

A new soundtrack and sound effects provide a warm welcome for both new and returning players.

“We wanted to provide a smooth, intuitive introduction to our game.” Says Zdeněk Doležal, one of the developers of Rail Route. “We had been receiving feedback that the game was difficult to get into and, whilst we knew how intuitive our game can be, we weren’t communicating that clearly enough to new players. We built this tutorial to fix that.”

“Jozic, along with the sound and interface additions, is a major part of our tutorial update.” Zdeněk says. “We’re really looking to provide our players with a relaxed atmosphere that they can get lost in – and so far we’ve had a really positive reception.”

“We want to give players a chance to try our game, and really immerse themselves in the world of railroad dispatching.” Zdeněk adds. “That’s really our goal with The Story of Jozic – to provide a narrative and further context to the world of Rail Route.”
