The Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway (LCLR) has unfortunately announced that the 2020 Skegness Classic Wheels Show has been postponed, but will return for 2021.

Due to take place on Sunday 20th of September 2020, the event would have been one of many to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the LCLR opening to the public on Sunday 27th of August 1960.

This will sadly not go ahead this year with uncertainty around the COVID-19 outbreak currently in the UK.

Started a few years ago, the Skegness Classic Wheels Show has something for every vintage vehicle enthusiast, with many vintage cars, motorcycles, scooters, tractors, traction engines plus more on display.

Currently, Sunday 21th of September 2021 is the planned date for next year’s event, with details being confirmed at a later date,

  1. It is indeed fortunate that the event has been cancelled, for many reasons.
It is extremely unfortunate that it had to happen.
I presume that the services of sub editors have been dispensed with so all the responsibility is now on the reporters to understand the nuances of language use and meaning.
