What did the officials say?

On his appointment, Robson said:

“I'm excited to join one of the UK's largest long-distance operators, with services spanning the length and breadth of the country. I am looking forward to working closely with our front-line colleagues and customers to provide an excellent service.”

Tom Joyner, Managing Director at CrossCountry added:

“John brings strong knowledge, passion and experience to CrossCountry which will be vital so that we are match-fit for the future. CrossCountry is changing and these regional directors will enable us to be more effective in the region.  Their arrival also ties in with the political changes coming our way, namely greater local involvement in shaping services.
