During today’s Prime Minister’s Questions, Boris Johnson had just two words in replies to questions about HS2.
Boris Johnson repeatedly replied that a decision would be made ‘very shortly’ when asked about HS2.
HS2 will link London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
Kevin Hollinrake, MP for Thirsk and Malton, asked about the rail scheme.
He said: “Does the Prime Minister agree that we need to increase capacity in our railways in and between the North, the Midlands, the South and Scotland, and unless we want decades of disruption, the only way to do this through the Midlands Engine rail, Northern Powerhouse Rail and HS2?”
