It has been confirmed that a person has been hit by a train between Birkenhead Central and Spital on the Merseyrail.
As a result, Merseyrail trains between Birkenhead Central and Hooton may be cancelled or delayed.
Delays are expected until 10:00
Road replacement transport will run between Hamilton Square and Hooton, this will be in place from 09:15.
