The Paradis Commemoration Group are looking to establish a memorial in Norfolk in memory of the 97 soldiers, mostly from The Royal Norfolk Regiment, who were massacred on 27th May 1940 in Le Paradis.

In order to support this important appeal, the North Norfolk Railway is hosting a black tie and tiara dinner aboard the North Norfolkman dining train on Monday 14th October.

The Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Society have kindly made available their War Department locomotive No 90775 The Royal Norfolk Regiment to haul the train.

The train will depart from Sheringham at 19.10 and return at 22.10. Guests should arrive from 18.30.

A delicious three-course dinner will be served onboard the train which will include ½ bottle of wine with the meal and a glass of Prosecco at Sheringham.

A licenced bar will be available on board along with a Gin Bar serving a wide range of gins and garnishes.

During the evening the Group will be running a sealed bid auction for a range of exciting and exclusive promises and prizes.
