Paignton set to welcome steam locomotive 60009 Union of South Africa this Sunday

Steam locomotive No.60009 Union of South Africa will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Bristol and Paignton on Sunday 18th August 2019.

The A4 locomotive is on a special rail tour from Bristol Temple Meads to Kingswear.

The steam locomotive will depart Bristol Temple Meads at approximately 09:10 am.

The railtour will then leave bound for Kingswear. It will pass through Yatton (09:25), Weston Super Mare (09:41), Taunton (10:15), Tiverton Parkway (11:02), Exeter St Davids (11:19), Dawlish Warren (11:31), Teignmouth (11:38), Paignton (11:58) and Kingswear at 12:34.

Departing Kingswear at 16:50, the locomotive will pass through  Paignton (17:15), Dawlish (17:42), Tiverton Parkway (18:12), Taunton (18:27), Weston super Mare (19:31), Yatton (19:52), and Bristol Temple Meads at 20:14.
