Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower heading for Dunrobin this Saturday

Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will be hauling day 3 of a multi-day railtour this Saturday, as it heads for Brora.

Departing Inverness at 08:31, the train will pass through Muir of Ord (09:42), Dingwall (09:58), Invergordon (10:22), Fearn (10:35), Tain (10:42), Ardgay (12:30), Lairg (12:51), Rogart (13:22), Dunrobin Castle (13:35) and Brora (14:00).

At Brora, the locomotive will be serviced ahead of the return journey.

The return journey will see Mayflower depart Brora at 15:24. The train will take the same route back to Inverness. It will pass through Dunrobin Castle (15:38), Rogart (15:55), Lairg (16:27), Ardgay (16:48), Tain (17:13), Invergordon (18:01), Dingwall (18:29), Muir of Ord (18:47), and Inverness at 19:28.

These are advised timings, however, we must reiterate, you must not trespass on the railway. Please keep to public access points, such as stations! It is illegal and dangerous if your trespass on to the railway.
