What did the officials say?
ScotRail Alliance Head of Customer Experience Graham Heald said:
“We’re delighted to be welcoming golf fans and The Open Championship back to Carnoustie.
“It’s going to be a busy week, so we’ll be installing a queuing system at Carnoustie station to help things go smoothly. That means the station car park will be closed during the event.
“While the car park is closed, we will be making alternative arrangements to ensure everyone can access the station.”
