The East Lancashire Railway has released an emergency new timetable for the first day of its Spring Steam Gala, which starts tomorrow (2nd March 2018).
The new timetable is as a result of the extreme weather which has battered Britain over the last few days. The NYMR has already announced that its Tornado services are cancelled this week – more information on that here.
The new revised timetable sees service trains not stop at Summerseat or Burrs Country Park. The timetable features the omission of freight and shuttle trains.
The heritage railway, which runs between Heywood and Rawtenstall via Bury Bolton Street, Burrs Country Park/Caravan Park, Ramsbottom, and Irwell Vale, will then make a decision as to how to operate for the rest of the weekend.
